Yaaay it's warm enough to wear pretty spring dresses! No but for real it's getting hot out. I'm gonna try to enjoy the warm before it gets painful out... I'm not a fan of the summer! (More like I need a fan in the summer, am I right?)
I was gonna wear a pair of heels with this dress, but when I walked up next to Travis and towered over him, I changed into my flats cuz of the look on his face. Ha.Ok wanna know a secret? I brought the wrong backs for these earrings. Only one of them fit, the other was way too big and wouldn't keep the thing on. So, determined as I was to wear my daisy earrings with my daisy dress, I duct taped it on. On to my ear. Here's a tip: don't do that. It worked and all, but it hurt like hell coming off!
dress: Dots
cardigan: Travis's
shoes, necklace: Modcloth
socks: Old Navy
hat, bag: thrifted
cat purse: cavern gift shop
Oh, I LOVE this dress! You look ready for the beach :) - I'm jealous, it isn't quite that warm where I am yet! And ha, it is tough being a tall lady, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat cat-purse seems very you somehow :)
ReplyDeletethat bag is TOO great
ReplyDeleteI love the floral dress with oxfords and polka dot socks! That bag is the cutest!

Loving the dress and the little details like the kitty cat and the daisy.
ReplyDeleteLook at you all ready for spring! This dress is so fun, you look great in red. And those earrings are adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis whole outfit is too cute! Love the fun details. A tip for missing earring backs, if you can find one from another pair that fits: get someone to wrap a bit of scotch or electrical tape around the back of the ear post after it's on, not touch your ear--OR if you have a bit of dense putty, make a tiny ball and poke the post through it. Not sure if those will work for heavier earrings, though. But less painful than duct tape :)

Thanks, that is a good tip! I definitely didn't have any putty (my first question to my boyfriend was if he had any wall tacky stuff) but wrapping the tape around the back totally would have worked!
DeleteLove the matching. Though it sounds like it was painful!
