Notice the new header and portrait? I told you guys I'd been super busy with art lately!
I'm working on this zine idea I have, a zine about Teenage Monsters, like ghosts and that vampire babe up there. So stay tuned for that.
This lady is inspired by the amazing Wishcandy.
And I finally scanned in my Historical Heroines project from last semester! They're a set of 50 trading cards featuring heroic ladies of history! Pretty proud of these.
Your Historical Heroines cards are STUNNING! You could seriously turn those into a children's book. Lucille Ball is definitely my favorite (no surprises there).
ReplyDeleteYou changing your url explains a lot. I tried to go to your old one the other day and got this: http://floralprintsandkissing.tumblr.com/. "Hello Ruth Kibler, I reside in Greenville. I am self employed as a Receptionist. I also like to Make Military Dioramas. This July, i will turn 35. This sort of blog will probably be unbiased" whaaaat
Let me know if you want any collaborators on your Teenage Monsters zine! That sort of thing is right up my alley.
Okay, I'm so into the Historical Heroines cards! Anne Frank is my favorite. x

ReplyDeleteWow those Historical trading cards are SO cool. Are these on your shop? I'd want to feature them on my blog (well, and maybe purchase some :) )
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kristian! They're not available in my shop right now, but you're welcome to feature them and link back to here! If you want to buy a set, just message me and we can work it out. :)
DeleteWowza! Those Historical Heroines are amazing! I think my favorite in this post is the illustration inspired by Wish Candy! She's one of my faves (along with you, of course!) so I love your interpretation!
