DIY CAT PANTS

C'mon you guys, you know cat pants deserve all caps. I made these beauties myself, and they are my pride and joy. I did them back in June and have been waiting for fall to come to show 'em off!
Forgive the quality of the process photos, pretty please.
So here are the steps I took to make them.
I got some flared khakis from Goodwill. Then I made them fit me.
Once they were skinny, I drew cats all over them with a sharpie.
Then, I decided on a color scheme.
Then it was paintin' time! I used watered down acrylics that I mixed in plastic cups.
If you guys do paint your own pants this way, only hand wash them afterwards. I thought I'd already washed them, but I hadn't, and they fade quite a bit if you put them in the machine.
And here's how I wore them!
I was a little nervous about wearing them out around campus, because, let's face it, they're on the ridiculous side. But everyone loved them! And of course I do too.

    3. Oh my god and I just looked again at the photos and realised how all the cats are facing backwards on the back of your pants, and frontways on the front. I missed that before haha. That kind of makes this about 100 x cooler, if that was even possible!
