Golden

Most of the pictures I took turned out like this one.
Because I was messing with the ISO and it was cold and I was rushing. But I got some okay ones! I'm so excited to be home and have my white garage wall to fall back on for picture-taking. It's boring, I know, but when I get frustrated with the pictures I'm getting I can go back to my white wall and feel safe.

Anyone have any tips on that crazy white sky in the background and how to get rid of it? It was a cloudy day in the late afternoon, so it wasn't bright out. Changing the exposure on my point and shoot just darkened the stuff I didn't want darkened.
I only have one exam left and then I'm golden.

    To say I'm in love with this top and this dress would be an understatement. If you ever wanted to put either of these up for swap...just saying ;) Also, as much as I feel bad that you struggle with photography as much as I do, I always like knowing I'm not alone. Let's team up and steal DSLRs together and force the owners to edit our pictures for us.

      Luckily my mom is going to buy herself a DSLR this Christmas that I may, um, borrow...

    congrats on making it through all the other exams! and best of luck w/ your one remaining, what is it in? i'm always curious to hear the classes everyone takes and you must have some really cool ones w/ illustration! love this outfit too. I really love how you layer over instead of tucked in (which i get stuck on too much). that coat is amazing too! & um, i'm the worst at camera settings so if you find out please share : )

      Thanks so much! My last one was in Astronomy, but by far my coolest classes this semester were in Children's books and comics!
