A Grandma

I am so happy to have my white garage back.
I mean, it's private, it's neutral, it's right outside my door. Yeah it's a little boring, but I am so glad to have it back. I'm also glad to have my curling iron back... as you can see, my bangs were starting to get a little crazy there.
I borrowed this glorious grandma sweater from Marisa of the Shades of Monet Chronicles. It actually belonged to her grandma! A lady with good taste, I'm sure. I piled on the patterns, because, why not? I haven't worn this dress or shirt in like a zillion years because they've been lying in the floor of my room. I've got to get a jump on organizing my closet. It's getting ridic.
dress, necklace: forever 21
undershirt: Goodwill
shoes: thrift store

Here's how Marisa wore it. I swear I love her style so much it hurts.

  1. Haha I feel the same way about Marisa's style! I love how the both of you styled it, so pretty. I didn't know it belonged to her grandma, it makes it even more sweeter. I love layering sweaters over jumpers- and that pale pink was a nice contrast against the darker floral pattern. Cute as always :)

  2. Loving the neutrals mix, and the shorts + sweater + tights combo! How fun to see it styled two ways, thanks for sharing!

  3. That's sweet that it belonged to her grandma! Fun to see how you both styled it.

  4. This is truly perfect on you Rachel! Now I want to trying pairing it with a little floral skirt as well :) It's so sweet to see my grandmother's sweater styled by another. It was so long ago, but I'm pretty sure she also wore it with a cute floral print as well. She was always bold in her style and never hesitated to mix and match prints and colors...just like you did! xoxo

    1. Thanks so much, Marisa!
She sounds like a special lady!
