In This Day and Age

I'm really lucky to be alive during this time. Technology, medicine, and indoor plumbing, I mean, cmon. And I have so much, all of human history to look back at and draw inspiration from. So many decades of fashion and art contribute to the way I dress and what I draw. But sometimes I get really sad and think "Everything's been done." I feel like anything I do and call "creative" is just a rehash of what's already happened. Wouldn't it be neat to think they're is an entire world to explore?
That is just a thought and really has nothing to do with this outfit.
Got this dress pretty recently, and the first time I washed it, the dryer in my dorm tore two buttons off! And I mean, violently! The actual buttons were broken off, not just pulled from the dress. So that was a bummer. That dryer doesn't even dry our clothes properly. I hate it when things don't do their job.
On a more positive note, on this day Travis and I ate pizza in the park. Those are three things I love, especially together!
I don't know if you guys have noticed my lack of accessories, but it's because I just don't know how to accessorize properly. True story.

  1. You're awesome. I love this outfit a lot :)
Also keep in mind that we still only understand such a tiny, teeny infinitesimally small part of the universe. There is still so much to create and learn and discover :) (that's what I tell myself all the time when I'm feeling like everything has already been done.)

    1. Thankyou! When I washed it, my violent machine tore them off! So I replaced them with cupcake buttons.
