Art Lately

Hey guys.

Here's some art I've done lately:

A commenter mentioned that there's a lack of racial diversity in my work (ironically, hours after I finished this piece, haha) which is something I really have noticed and been trying to rectify over the past months. Really most of my final paintings are predominately white chicks, so I definitely need to work harder at it. A lot of my work focuses on female empowerment, and it's really important to me to include all types of ladies in that. So here's me making a commitment to make a real effort for diversity.

This is the second book I've illustrated from the Odyssey for class. I traded with someone for it... no way was I not gonna do the Sirens! I wanted them to be a little bit punk.

And here's book 17, where Odysseus wakes up in Ithaca.

A sketch I liked.

And here's some Halloween themed illustrations! The first is a sad sad ghostie girl.

And I also did a real fashionable teenage witch.

As always, if you want a commission, I love doin' them! You can purchase one in my shop.

And if you guys could, will you take another survey for me? This one is for marketing and it's on online vs in-store shopping.
