I've been saving this DIY for a rainy day... Appropriately, since it's a sweater covered in clouds!
You'll need a cardigan or sweater, felt, scissors, embroidery thread, embroidery needles (they've got a bigger eye), and some kind of stencil (optional).1. So first, if you're using a stencil, cut that thing out! You can make any shape you want. I think hearts or stars would be cute, too!
2. Second, pin your stencil to your felt.
3. Cut out as many shapes as you want!
4. Now, arrange them on your sweater and pin them in place.
5. Thread your needle and tie the thread in a knot at the eye, instead of doubling it over like you would with sewing thread.
6. Start sewing those clouds on!
POW. Now you've turned a blah cardigan into a ray of sunshine! Wear that sucker with pride! (Or with tights and t-straps!)
SO cute!
