Evening Walks and a Close-up of My Feet

 Travis and I took a twilit walk around the SC capitol building; home to statues of some of the most renowned anti-civil rights politicians and a flying confederate flag!

Regardless, it's a really impressive piece of architecture, and one of my favorite parks.

I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem, but no pair of heels seems to fit me. I got this lovely pair from good ol' goodwill, and after a mere 30 minute stroll I was ready to go barefoot. Do I just have freakish feet, or an inability to pick proper footwear?

They are cute, though, right?

Introducing an outfit that is not entirely thrifted!

I follow a lot of style blogs around the internet, and I think it's really interesting to see each person's preferences as far as price goes. I follow a lot of strictly vintage blogs, and many blogs of ladies who buy Prada. They're both equally enjoyable, and I think it's really neat to see the diversity!

 I'm sure the rest of you college students are as elated as I am about the upcoming end of school! I've got 2 exams and 1 critique left, and then I'm outta here!

I can't wait to go home and sew some dresses.

Every weekend I try and pack one comfy outfit that I can lay around in, and this was this weekend's! I originally had planned to wear a starry shirt over this one. I would have looked so patriotic!

All That Spring

Today we went thrifting. Like I do every weekend. I'm really lucky that I can indulge my addiction to clothes that old people wore in an inexpensive way! I got some really neat things that are way too big for me, so I won't be wearing them until I can get home to my sewing machine.

Someone inside the building must've gotten annoyed with me, because they shut those blinds back there about halfway through this whole thing, haha. How about that tipped collar, though?

The Light's Not On My Side

My face is unintentionally stupid in these. Probably because I tried the self timer, and I was staring at the blinking light like "uhhh did it take, or...?" It also seemed to wash everything out, but maybe that was just the light I was in. I eventually had to give up, because it started to rain!

 Dressed casual in some blue today. I love button ups, and I love this cardigan! We ate in the park again because the weather is so nice. I know it will be hot again soon, and I am dreading it.
