Green Clothes

Aw yeah the wEeKEnD!!

This outfit is pretty weird for me. Mostly cause of the pants, but also because I rarely wear green or rock the tomboy look. I bought the pants at Gap the other day for much more than I normally spend on things, but I really like them! They're corduroys and they're pretty and great for fall. 

Also Urban Outfitters is having a big ol' sale right now, and like, everything I liked the last time I was in there was an additional 50% off. I got shoes and shoes and this mean bracelet:

The weather is nice.

I'm glad the weekend is coming up, and whaddya know, it also happens to be my Fall Break! Unfortunately it doesn't coincide with my sister's or boyfriend's, and my parents will be working, so I'll be on my own. But that definitely has it's perks too.

Lately I feel like I've watched everything Netflix has to offer... that would interest me anyway. I've watched Ugly Betty, Scrubs, Gossip Girl, Orange is the New Black, and Bob's Burgers, and I'm watching New Girl, The Mindy Project, Parks and Rec, and Top Model on Hulu. I've been wanting some good animes to watch, but if you have any recommendations for me I'd love to hear them!

DIY Halloween Nails

Hey guys! In an effort to make this blog a little more interesting for you guys, and because it's October, I made a cutesy little manicure DIY. Of skulls. You'll need white, black, and red polish for this, and I used a combination of toothpicks and a paintbrush.

So here's the basics:

Start with a circle.

Add little notches at the bottom for the skull's teeth.

Add 4 black circles for the eyes and nose.

If you want to add a heart, start with a diagonal stroke like this.

Add another to make a V.

Use black to add lines for the arrow.

Finally, add the ends of the arrow!

Thug in a Pinafore

My sister told me this beanie made me look like a thug.

Today I have kindof a combo my-outfit/nature-photography post for you, from Sunday when I spent the day with my two favorite people at the State Capitol Park. Luckily, its not operated by the federal government, so we could still hang out there and eat our pizza. There was also like a biker gang appreciation thing going on and all these motorcyclists were on the steps of the building singing the national anthem.

I've got a bunch of fun faces in this photoset! My sister took all the pictures of me (and continues to prove her skill at things that she doesn't care about doing).
